Where Young Professionals Meet, Learn and Grow

To be successful you have to surround yourself with successful people. Finding strong mentors and developing the right network is often challenging. Where do you find the experience and advice you need to succeed? Right here! Building a strong, supportive network that will help propel you to success is easier than you think....through Junior Chamber International (JCI).

We are a group of young, motivated people, just like you, who desire success. Together we form a fun, supportive global network of progressive, forward thinking young people who help each other develop the tools, experience and contacts needed to succeed - not only in business, but also in life.

JCI membership is open to young professionals and entrepreneurs who shares strong values, an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to take control of their lives.

The South San Fernando Valley Junior Chamber brings a number of career and personal development programs to our members

Entrepreneurs.Action.Training
E.A.T is a monthly entrepreneurship dinner series. Held at various locations on the third Wednesday of each month, E.A.T. is an exceptional opportunity for young entrepreneurs to network and share ideas, gain skills relevant to business through the development seminar, and be inspired by the young entrepreneur keynote speaker and the story of their success.

Breakfast with a CEO
The Breakfast with a CEO series aims to provide the opportunity for members to learn leadership insights from, and share fellowship with, leading current and former CEO's and Board Chairpersons in a small group setting.

After Work Socials
The South San Fernando Valley Junior Chamber is not only about business! Regular events are organized to give members the opportunity to socialize and network in a non-business atmosphere, and to promote fellowship. Some socials are scheduled on Fridays "after work" for a chance to wind down after a stressful week at the office. Join your friends at a local watering hole, practicing your golf swing or making your Latin dance debut! Dress is always business casual or casual, and cost is based on the event.

Member Opportunity Nights
Held monthly in a convenient location, Member Opportunity Nights provide an ideal chance to hear project updates, and to participate in the organization’s planning process. In addition, you’ll be updated on the many opportunities for our members beyond the local level such as State Meeting, National Convention, JCI World Congress and more. Member Opportunity Nights typically consist of a “business meeting” followed by a casual social.

Community Service

Our members get a chance to develop transferable business skills by being involved in what are traditionally not business activities. For example, while running a ‘youth shelter fix up project’ a member would be exposed to strategic planning, project planning, budgeting, committee and human resource management, how to negotiate with suppliers and much more using the Junior Chamber process for planning and managing a project.

Community Development Projects
